Hugh Reese
Founder & CEO

DwellAssured was created by Hugh Reese after he helped a close friend navigate a home-health care emergency for his aging mother. Seeing how difficult and emotionally draining the process was for the family, he set out to create something different: a one-stop solution that would provide older adults and their loved ones with complete peace of mind for any aging-in-place challenge.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Reese has spent 41 years in a variety of leadership positions within the United States Navy, private business, and non-profit organizations, including 30 years working with older adults. He has worked with older adults both as the volunteer director of numerous non-profits, as well as a paid senior executive. He is a serial entrepreneur having served as the founder and CEO of a real estate affinity group in addition to time spent as the chairman of the board of six non-profits.

Salley Huey

Sally Huey, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Assessor Training

Sally Huey brings over 25 years of advanced nursing experience to DwellAssured’s senior leadership team. She is an assistant professor at Georgetown University School of Nursing where she teaches, creates, and manages online learning and training programs. She is also an actively practicing, board-certified family nurse practitioner providing care for patients across the lifespan.

In her role at DwellAssured, Huey ensures that our nationwide team of registered nurses receive the highest levels of initial and ongoing training in order to effectively perform our DwellAssured 360-Degree Age In Place Home Assessment for our clients in their communities.

Margaret Granitto

Margaret Granitto, RN, NP
Assessment Quality Control

Margaret Granitto ensures that, through our DwellAssured 360-Degree Age In Place Home Assessment, we bring the latest science and evidence-based best practices to our clients and to the DwellAssured RNs who support them.

Granitto has over 25 years of advanced nursing experience, and 12 years of experience as an educator at Georgetown University School of Nursing. Throughout her career, she has extensive experience overseeing and managing nurses and health care programs, including creating and managing a successful home care company staffing over 30 CNAs. She also continues to see patients as a certified nurse practitioner with a special interest in the fields of medical cardiology and gerontology.

Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis
Chief Alliance Officer

Lisa Davis is a seasoned entrepreneur and sales executive with a proven record of successfully leading sales teams both nationally and internationally. With over 40 years of experience, she has worked in key markets, including healthcare, cybersecurity, financial services, legal services, and technology.  She has been the founder of three successful professional services firms. As Chief Alliance Officer, she leads the strategic sales and business development efforts of DwellAssured.

Adam Douglass
Chief Technology Officer

Adam Douglass is the chief technology officer at DwellAssured and is responsible for the technical direction of DwellAssured’s aging-in-place solutions. He is passionate about creating high-performing teams and delivering software that exceeds expectations.

As a software developer at heart, Adam has spent the past 20 years building tools, apps, and games for small businesses and non-profits. Adam’s career includes 10 years working at Social Solutions, a Baltimore-based provider of web-based case management software, in a variety of roles: building web-based assessment tools and ultimately as senior vice president. Following his time at Social Solutions, Adam spent nearly 5 years helping small businesses and startups bring new ideas to life building cross-platform apps and advising on technology projects.

Kelly Mitchell, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Chief Talent Officer

Kelly Mitchell is DwellAssured’s chief talent officer, responsible for helping us recruit the nation’s leading gerontology talent and maximize the performance of our people, HR processes, and technologies.

With more than 25 years of experience as a certified human resources leader, she has held senior corporate HR management positions for both start-up and fast-growth companies such as PrimeStar Partners (which later became DirecTV), Analytical Graphics, Inc., Phoenix Technologies, Delmarva Home Health Care, Adfinitas Health, and HealthPro Advantage. As a sought-after HR consultant, her clients have ranged from start-up organizations with less than 20 employees to large established organizations with over 1000 employees.

Michelle Ellinger

Michelle Ellinger, BSN, RN
Lead Assessor

In her role as DwellAssured’s lead assessor, Michelle Ellinger brings extensive experience as an educator, clinical liaison, nurse case manager, and patient care manager. With a clinical background that includes geriatrics, hospice, and palliative care, Michelle has worked with individuals across the lifespan. In addition, Michelle is a certified palliative care class instructor and a clinical instructor for nursing students within the community.

Diane Devaney

With more than 35 years of experience and a full roster of loyal clients, Diane Devaney is a proven leader in the strategic marketing and integrated communications industry with a primary focus on health care. As DwellAssured’s chief marketing officer, she works to help more older adults and their families understand and connect with our life-changing aging-in-place solutions.

After successfully starting and running creative departments for other firms, she opened her own agency, Devaney & Associates, Inc., in 1991. Since then, she has grown her company into a full-service advertising, marketing, and public relations agency that consistently generates award-winning, effective creative work. Clients include Visiting Angels (national public relations), Carroll Hospital and LifeBridge Health System (23+ years as the agency on record), Presbyterian Senior Living (2nd largest senior living organization in the mid-Atlantic), and ConnectRN (a national digital health care staffing platform).
